About April

Hello, my name is April and I am a special education teacher. I would love to nanny part time this summer. I usually teach summer school but not this summer. Before teaching I had my own childcare business for 17 years. I was a nanny for two families when in college (which was awhile ago). I am a pet lover! I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, and loving I like working with kids because I love to help shape them and build their confidence to be amazing human beings. I'm looking for a job that is only for the summer and part time. I started working with kids when I was old enough to start babysitting. I new the only thing I ever wanted to do was work with kids. I have done so for the last 30+ years. In my spare time, I like to be outside hiking, swimming, playing tennis or pickleball, and reading. One thing you should know about me is I love all the kiddos I have had in my life throughout the years like they are my own! My skills include love, safety, and fun!
