I'd describe my personality as passionate, empathetic, creative. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy talking with them, learning about their background, getting to know them. Seniors are often appreciative of assistance. I have an understanding of their aging process & like to help with tasks they aren't able to do themselves anymore. I'm looking for a job that is on an as needed basis. I'm available for drop in home visits when regular caregivers are out of town or unable to make their visit. I cook, can provide companionship for a few hours with brain stimulating activities like cards games, puzzles, walks, mild exercising, board games, etc., errands, grocery shop, drive to/from Dr's appts. I began caring for seniors when I became a paramedic in 2003. In my spare time, I like to be with my kids, husband, boat, fish, cook, paint, bike, travel. My skills include years of experience in the medical field as a 1st responder & advanced critical care. I'm BLS, CPR, ACLS certified
