I am an RN, with a Bachelor's Degree from George Mason University. I have 30 years of experience. I enjoy being a companion. I am a kind and gentle person who enjoys nature, animals, games and art of all kinds. I like helping people in their homes and I support a happy life. I'd describe my personality as kind, caring, compassionate I like caring for seniors because they often need someone to listen to them & assist them to live a better life. I'm looking for a job that is near to my home, part-time, giving care. I started caring for seniors as a nursing assistant in 1981. In my spare time, I like to read, write, garden, the arts, visit with family & friends, & play games of all kinds. One thing you should know about me is that I cared for my mother with dementia. My skills include assisting a person with their daily tasks (ADL's), vital signs, observing, giving needed care. I can assist or administer their medications, attend appointments and explain medical terms & advice.
