Hi! My name is Ashley. I am an actress and nanny and have been working as a nanny for 7. 5 years. I moved to New York in 2012 to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) and have studied at The Stella Adler Studio. I am currently taking voice classes at The Julliard School. My drama training comes in handy when working with children, as playing pretend is one of my absolute favorite things to do! Stoking the imagination of a young child is necessary for healthy brain function and I am more than up to the challenge. I have been lucky to receive Montessori training in addition to sleep training and early childhood training through Rockefeller College. I am a student of Gentle Parenting and firmly believe in raising children from a wholly empathetic viewpoint, recognizing that these small beings have only been in this world for a short amount of time and that their brains are still in very early stages of development. Our 7-year-old daughter had a wonderful evening with Ashley—it was all she could talk about the next morning. She was prompt, asked considerate questions, and had a kind, gentle, grounded demeanor that immediately put us at ease. We will absolutely be asking Ashley to sit for us again in the near future!
