About Ashmita

Greetings, I am Ashmita, a 27-year-old Senior Airman with 10 years of dedicated experience working with children between the ages of 2 and 12 in the United States. My professional journey commenced at the age of 18 as an intern, progressing through roles such as After School Teacher, Camp Counselor, Teacher's Assistant, Paraprofessional, and Class Teacher. My deep-rooted affinity for children blossomed when my sister was born prematurely 21 years ago. Despite my tender age of six, I assumed the role of my mother's helper and continued to provide care for my younger cousins to this day. During my teen years, I actively volunteered for an organization focused on Child Welfare. At the age of 14, I intervened to protect a child from an abusive father, fueling my unwavering commitment to advocating for children. Child Welfare remains a cause close to my heart, driving me towards the ambition of initiating projects to support Children In Need in the future.
