About Ashtyn

Hi there! I just graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and a minor in Psychology! I absolutely love working with kids, and I will be starting graduate school in August to get my Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy. I plan to then pursue Pediatric Occupational Therapy, working in either the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in the hospital or in a sensory clinic with older kiddos! My mom is actually an Occupational Therapist, specializing in Pediatrics, so that is where I get my inspiration from, as well as my passion for working with kids! Over the last three summers I have worked up at a guest ranch as a full time counselor for the Children's Program. I have also babysat for tons of family, neighbors, and teachers! I just got home from study abroad and completed my undergraduate degree, so I am looking for a way to keep busy while I am home until I start grad school in the Fall, and no better way than to hang with the kiddos!
