About Aurora

I am a 34-year-old, experienced and compassionate caregiver with a diverse background in both child and senior care. In college, I was a nanny for an infant, gaining hands-on experience with creating a nurturing environment that promoted healthy development. I also worked as an after-school teacher at my family's daycare, where I helped elementary-aged children with meals, homework, and creative activities that encouraged learning and self-expression. Over the last 3 years I was a caregiver for a senior with dementia, providing assistance with medication reminders, household cleaning, and companionship, fostering a stable and comforting environment. I would like to work with kids because as a child, I often wished for a sense of family and belonging, and that's shaped my commitment to showing up for kids. I believe it's important to advocate for children and create an environment where they feel seen, heard, and accepted.
