About Aurora

Hello, My name is Aurora and I am a very high energy, extroverted, and art/music based nanny. I have worked in a childcare facility for about a year now, and while I love my kids, I realized I am much better suited to a more personalized type of childcare. I love having time to properly sit and do crafts, learn music, go on adventures or field trips ( of course we now make our own at home field trips due to covid), and do circle time to sit and learn different sets of curriculum. I actually was donated a set of toddler curriculum books from my last center that I cannot wait to use. I am a fan of redirecting and taking time to talk with children about not smart choices and behavior. If the situation calls for it I will usually sit them out for no longer than a minute or two and then revisit what we can do differently.
