About Autumn

I have been working in childcare since I was able to, either babysitting or volunteering in the nursery/Sunday school at my church throughout middle school and high school. After graduating, I worked as a TA at Inspire Preschool. I loved it but my school schedule conflicted with the hours there, so I had to leave. I babysat and nannied part time while I attended school and worked as management in retail. The family I nannied for retired at the same time COVID hit and I worked full time as a cook until this summer, when I started nannying full time. While I do enjoy downtime, I love being active and engaged. I've taught my niece how to garden and made fairy houses and baked with children in the past. Any homework help that's needed, I will help with and educate myself if it's something I need refreshing on. I believe in supporting a child's interests and using play as a way to sneak in some education.
