About Avalon

Hi! My name is Avalon, I'm an experienced childcare professional who has been working in the field for over 10 years. I have worked children of all ages from newborns to teenagers, and of all developmental abilities. I have worked in nurseries, preschools, and for families as either a caregiver or private teacher. I believe that every child is a valuable unique individual who needs personalized care and to be seen and understood. I want to work with the parents or guardians to give the best care, nurturing their development. I am comfortable with pets, multiple children and children with special needs. I have CPR and first aid training for both infants and adults. I am experienced in managing multiple children of varying ages at once, providing tutoring and homework help, and maintaining a clean and tidy space, preparing meals and helping to create routines and schedules that help both parent's and children's needs.
