About Ava

Hi! My name is Ava. I've been working as a childcare provider for 15+ years. I attended the University of Pittsburgh's CASE Program, graduating with a bachelor's degree in Developmental Psychology. I love working with children and utilize my background knowledge in Early Childhood Education to make everyday activities an opportunity for growth. I believe it's important for children to feel confident in self-expression and encourage that through a Holistic approach - i. e. incorporating daily activities that foster mindfulness, cognitive development (executive functioning and meta cognitive skills), social/interpersonal skills, emotional development, physical development, and creative expression. I feel that nannying is a beautiful opportunity for me to use my background in education to help children develop their knowledge and character in everyday experiences - I am always happy to help inspire a child to expand their understanding of self and the world around them.
