About Avani

Hello! My name is Avani. I am currently a student at the University of Maryland, College Park. I am an information science major. I have a strong hold on basic math subjects. I love teaching kids and for a little while at Kumon, I helped teach kids basic math skills. I want your kids to feel confident in what they are trying to get better at and I hope to help do that for them. I am very patience and will do my very best to make sure your kids gets to whatever level they want to be in however long it takes. I have always been more confident in my math skills growing up. Growing up as a kid I received tutoring help as well and that really benefited in my math skills today. I am more fast when doing problems now. Even from elementary school I was able to figure out simple skills like multiplication tables very fast. I received A's in my math classes all throughout school. I received a 770 on the math section of the SAT. I love teaching elementary level math because that is the base foun
