About Avery

Hi! My name is Avery and I graduated with my Bachelor's in Social Work in May 2023. In 2021 I graduated with my Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences. As a college student, I interned as a school social worker at an elementary school, which fulfilled my love to work with children and watch them grow as individuals. I was raised in an at-home daycare for 19 years surrounded by children everyday. I have worked alongside children in a daycare center, as a nanny, babysitting, private tutor for ages 6-15 years, and received my license as an assistant/substitute daycare provider when I turned 18. I'm also CPR/First Aid certified! My favorite kid-centered activities include baking, doing crafts, going for walks, and finding fun ways to incorporate learning into games/activities. I have experience working with kids of all ages.
