About Avery

Hi y'all! My name is Avery (they/she/he). I'm a gender-fluid person of Indigenous, Mexican, and European descent. I'm also a caregiver, certified birth worker (through Lifewerq), animal lover, educator and multidisciplinary artist. I have a degree in Globalization, Environment and Policy from the University of Oregon. In interpersonal, communal, and professional settings combined, I have over 12+ years of experience taking care of children and elderly folks. In birth work, my favorite clients are those who are in postpartum - it's such a special and intimate time to be working with people. :) I love being outdoors, reading and engaging in art and science activities with children. I'm always happy to go on walks and have deep conversations with elders. I also do pet- and house-sitting if needed! Have questions? Feel free to message me.
