About Bailey

I have 2 years of teaching experience teaching high school mathematics from a STEM focused high school in Maryland. I also have an additional year of experience in teaching middle school math. My education background is that I graduated with honors from the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in Middle School Math & Science education, and I have Maryland state certifications to teach both Math and Science. I form very strong relationships with my students and am very passionate about making sure students not only acquire necessary skills in Math and Science, but also gain a cross curriculum appreciation for these subjects. I also have worked with students in helping them with preparing for standardized tests including the MCAP as well as SAT. I am a young teacher who has a multiple resources and approaches to make sure that a student is being taught in a way that makes sense to them and fits their individual learning tendencies.
