About Basim

Having around 8 nephews and nieces collectively, taking care of kids is something I'm used to. I also work actively with counseling and mentoring of children from ages 5-15 every summer! I make sure I provide care for every child as if they were also my niece or nephew. I'd describe my personality as relaxed, receptive, and empathetic I like working with kids because as I stated before, I grew up in a big family. I'm looking for a job that not only pays, it has to inspire. I started working with kids from as young as 7 years old with my first nephew. In my spare time, I like to make music! One thing you should know about me is my best quality is being able to adapt. My skills include empathy, relating to the children as if I were in their shoes not just being your typical "adult." Also I feel my ability to communicate with a child is one of my best skills. Finally, I'd say responsibility.
