About Bertelle

Hi! I've been home raising my boys for numerous years and I'm ready to do some part-time work during school hours. In my previous career world, I worked as a recreation therapist. I have experience working with adults and children with physical, psychological and cognitive deficits. My previous professional positions were on an spinal cord injury unit at a Veterans Hospital, Therapeutic Recreation department for a city, and a state psychiatric hospital. I also have worked various odd jobs and volunteered at different capacities over the years to keep busy. One of my favorite things is to help increase quality of life of individuals served by getting them active and participating. I love working with seniors and various aged individuals with special needs. I love being a listening ear to their stories and assisting them have a good quality of life by engaging in activities. My personal hobbies are spending time with family, gardening, home repair/DIY projects, crafts, and board games.
