About Beverly

I love children and am available part-time in the Richardson / Dallas / Plano, Texas area. I have been babysitting since the early 70s. I have the ability to get on their level while remaining a responsible adult. Also, I have several grandchildren whom I adore. I enjoy playing games and different activities. In my degree, I learned skills to care for children with autism, children with mental problems, developmental disorders, and can communicate quite well with them. I have a lot of patience with all children, but work well/best with ages 5 to 12. I also have experience with adults with special needs and worked as a job coach for them. . My expertise is working as a companion with adults with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. I have worked in private homes and assisted living centers in the Richardson / Dallas area. I prefer to work part-time in the afternoon and evenings, however, my schedule is flexible.
