I worked with elderly population for over five to seven years when I was a substance abuse counselor. I would treat my clients as family because I would go out of my way to help them in every way possible, besides addiction, for example I had a lot of clients that couldn't write or speak English very well and so I would help them renew their medical or medicare. Fill out forms for dmv. Make calls for bank information etc. I would help them in any way possible. After that I did a part time job for about two and a half years as a caregiver for HSSI. I would mostly attend this person in helping them with their medication, medical appointments, make important calls for them, go grocery shopping etc. I am a very honest, reliable and responsible person. I am allergic to cats but I am okay with dogs.
