About Billie

Hi! My name is Billie, I'm a child development specialist, my undergrad was in elementary education, and I love reminding kids of the power they have within. I just moved here from Indianapolis in June and I am looking for consistent families to work with. I'd describe my personality as sweet, playful, & organized. I like working with kids because I feel that often times we as adults have a lot to learn from them I'm looking for a job that is intentional, accessible, and allows me to grow here after my move without worrying about instability. I started working with kids when I was 6 years old through babysitting my younger siblings, but I started getting paid in 2016 as a kindergarten before and aftercare teacher. In my spare time, I like to paint, walk in nature, and practice aerial arts! One thing you should know about me is I am reliable and caring. I want those around me to feel safe to show up as themselves.
