I have over eight years experience tutoring 3-5-year-olds in a preschool setting. In my current set-up, I take children in groups of three or four and hold 2-3 short sessions per week, averaging 20-30 minutes. I specialize in beginning phonics (letter and sound recognition, early writing), emerging reading skills (word families, sight words, long vowels, blends and diagraphs), beginning math (from sorting, counting, and patterns all the way to single- and double-digit addition and subtraction), and basic Spanish (vocabulary words, mostly, with some simple phrases, questions, and answers). My little graduates have gone off to Kindergarten with skills well above the requirement! I have had great success and gotten great joy from teaching these amazing friends. :)

Brandi was an early education teacher for both of my children. She gave each of them dedicated lessons in phonics, reading and math. They thrived in their classes with her and have gone on to continue to enjoy learning. She did a wonderful job incorporating music and other creative learning tools into her lessons. She helped our children strive and succeed. Brandi has also been a great photographer and babysitter over the years. Simply put, I can't imagine their early years without her.
