About Brianna

Hi! My name is Brianna and my favorite dinosaur is a plesiosaurus (which is technically not a dinosaur because it was an aquatic reptile, but I digress). I enjoy working with kids. I like to balance planned activities that encourage learning through exploration and child-led play. I think hands-on, tactile activities are crucial for a child's development. I tend to follow "gentle parenting" tactics-- I believe in setting firm boundaries to provide structure & security for the children as well as empowering them to feel their feelings, respectfully share their opinions, and set their own boundaries in return. We are raising tiny humans after all and, since they need those skills in adulthood, I want to help set them up for success. I'm hoping to find a family with similar values that is looking for a long-term nanny.
