About Brigitte

Hi there! I'm an experienced pet sitter and dog-walker. Through my volunteer work as a dog-walker at my local animal shelter I have had training and experience with dogs of various ages, breeds, temperaments, and backgrounds. I have lived with cats (and sometimes dogs) my entire life. My professional experience spans from short home visits for walks and/or feeding, cleaning litter boxes & administering comforting pets, to extended care of both pet(s) and home. In addition to everyday care such as toileting, brushing, feeding, etc., I also have experience administering medication to both cats and dogs, brushing teeth, trimming nails/claws, minor grooming, and bathing. I love being able to inspire a tail wag or a rumbling purr. I pride myself on cultivating an environment of mutual respect through patience, firm boundaries, and positive reinforcement.
