About Brooke

I am currently a freshman, at the University of Colorado, in Boulder. I am from Boston, MA, and throughout high school, I regularly babysat for 2 families. I have experience with children of all ages, but I have spent the most time with children, ages 4 to 10 years old. For the past two summers, I have worked at a YMCA day camp, working with both girls and boys, ages 5 to 13 years old. I am an International Affairs major, so I do not see working with children as part of my future career. In the meantime, I am in search of a casual, fun, side-job, where I can generate a little income, and most importantly, help a family out! I am pretty active, and love being outdoors. I like outdoor games, rock climbing, hiking, camping, and water activities. Also, some of my favorites include art projects, and listening to music. I am comfortable with mostly all modern technology (computers and TVs). I do have experience cooking and baking, though they are not my forte. I prefer to stick to the more basic options in the kitchen! I do have my license, but I do not have a car. I am looking for a jobsite that is close to some form of public transportation. Like most college students, I am looking for a little extra income, so I am not too picky with salaries. I also take my studies seriously, after all, that is why I am in Boulder. But, a job on week days, late afternoon to evening, would be ideal, as well as work during the day, on the weekends!
