About Brooke

I'm a hardworking and engaging tutor who has worked with children (ages 4-18) for 8 years and tutored for 4 (both volunteer and paid, tutoring experience with ages 12-21 but comfortable with any). I have found that my propensity toward patience and friendliness have done wonders for making students feel like they are in a safe environment where they can learn properly without fear of making mistakes. Learning is a beautiful thing, and I take care to impress that upon my students, often finding that they work much harder and have an easier time with the subject after developing a more positive relationship with it. I have a genuine passion for teaching, and find meaning in connecting a student with a subject and giving them a new appreciation for it.
