About Cali

Hi there! I'm Cali, an enthusiastic and kind tutor with a genuine love for working with children. After spending two fulfilling years as a classroom teacher - one year teaching 4th grade in Queens and another year teaching 5th grade on Long Island - I've recently decided to pursue a different career path. However, my heart will always be dedicated to nurturing young minds and helping them reach their full potential. Before becoming a classroom teacher, I had the fantastic opportunity to work as a reading teacher assistant for grades K and 3-5, where I honed my skills in supporting students' literacy development. I hold a Masters in Childhood Education and a Bachelors in Economics from UCLA. In our sessions, you can expect a bubbly and friendly atmosphere, where I'll create a safe space for learning and growth. My goal is to not only help your child with their academic needs but also to inspire a lifelong love for learning.
