Originally from Brooklyn, NY I am a graduate of Wellesley College where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies with a minor in Computer Science. I am a strong believer in a multidisciplinary education and use my liberal arts background to inform my teaching. I excel in teaching elementary and middle-school math, especially to students who have been told that math isn't for them. Other favorite subjects of mine are high-school math and English language skills in general. I particularly enjoy working with test-prep students, especially students with test-anxiety or other hurdles, and watching them grow their understanding and exceed their own expectations. I bring compassion and flexibility to all my lessons, and believe the key to being a great tutor is making the subject matter work for the individual.
