About Cammie

I am a part-time professor at Baylor University (class is online at 9pm). After many years of fulltime work as a Prevention Scientist for American Heart Association, I am blessed to have time to return to what I love most - working with people in their golden years of wisdom! While in college and grad school I spent many years working as a home health nurse with our wisest citizens. I teach about elder empowerment and health in my graduate classes, and recently started volunteering at the St. Augustine Council on Aging. I am now blessed to have a portfolio career as a consultant/professor, so I have decided it is time to return to my "first love." This is not a "job" for me. It is a joy. I have an active RN license in FL, experience in geriatric needs assessment, longevity research, healthy lifestyle in geriatrics and care delivery.
