About Cara

Hello, my name is Cara. I am 32 years old and have 20 years of childcare experience, for children of all ages from infant twins to age 15. Currently, I work at an elementary school with children who have special needs, as a registered behavior interventionist. It is very rewarding and I enjoy it thoroughly. Although, at this time, I am looking to transition back to nannying full time. Some of the care I've provided in the past includes: driving kids to various activities/play dates, teaching children & providing educational help, reading books, light house keeping (tidying up, some cooking, laundry, dishes), making bottles and washing them, toileting, changing diapers, naps, teaching swim lessons if needed (I used to be a swimmer on a swim team and lifeguard), arts and crafts, keeping the kids occupied and away from screens, etc. With each and every family I work with and for I make sure to provide each family with individualized care tailored to meet each family's specific needs.
