About Cara

I love working with children because it's enjoyable to engage with them and encourage their growth as individuals. I adore how children's boundless energy and curiosity can be channeled toward creativity and development. I started working with kids 4 years ago as a youth specialist at an elementary school. I am CPR and first aid certified and I have experience with special needs children. I have my own transportation as well. I specialized in working with children preK-1st grade, however I have experience with children preK-8th grade. I can help your child engage in outdoor/indoor activities and fun crafts that can provide learning opportunities for them, as well as help with homework if needed. I am currently enrolled at SPC to become an elementary school teacher. I would love to be an educator, mentor and companion for children. In my spare time I like to go to the beach, travel, read, journal, paint and draw. I love spending time with my family, friends and my dogs too!
