Hi Parents, My name is Carla. I love children! From a young age, I knew I wanted to work with kids. I have two sisters who are 10 and 12 years younger than me, whose diapers I would help change and bottles I would help make. Professionally, I have over 20 years experience working with children in different types of childcare settings. I have worked as a Live-in Nanny, Toddler-teacher at various schools, as well as back-up care centers. I currently work full-time as a Childcare Specialist, caring for children ages 2-12 years old with a variety of needs. I love to form relationships with the families I work with and watch children grow and reach milestones. Ideally, I would like something steady like one Saturday a month, but willing to do an occasional gig as well. I look forward to meeting you.

Carla has been sitting for my kids since they were infants. They are 11 and 13 now and they don't need a sitter anymore, but they still love to see her! She is loving and fun and knows a million games and songs. She was the one who got the first smile out of my son when he was a baby! She is just amazing with the kids. Her background in early childhood development and her years of experience means she knows how to deal with just about any kid in any situation. I have never come home and found her asleep on the couch. I have never come home to find a mess of kids' dishes in the sink. She is reliable and respectful and responsible. Having Carla come and hang out with the kids is a worry-free experience for everyone. I highly recommend her!
