About Carlee

I absolutely love dogs, and have a lot of experience taking care of them. My family owned two golden retrievers for the first 13 years of my life, and I made it my responsibility to care for them (walks, food, brushing, etc.). When I was 12 years I began to volunteer at an animal shelter in my neighborhood. After volunteering for two years, they hired me as a full time employee during the summer months. I learned so much about caring for cats and dogs while I was there- how to potty train puppies, how to clip cats nails, how to successfully walk six dogs at once, how to bathe a cat without getting scratched to death. I even was an aide to the vet who came in twice a week; I would help put an IV into dehydrated animals, give dogs and cats medicine, and treat kitten an puppies for various illnesses. Unfortunately, I left the animal shelter to pursue lifeguarding and childcare. However, I still pet sit and dog walk for family friends, and am more in love with animals than ever.
