About Cassandra

Hi! In addition to my professional experience I am super creative and energetic which I believe is just as important when it comes to childcare. Not only keeping the children safe but also happy and engaged. I've been babysitting and nannying for as long as I could and once I entered high school I began working as an assistant teacher at First Light preschool where I worked with children ages 1-5. My senior year I graduated a semester early and started volunteering in a local third grade class working one on one with students during math and English lessons. Wanting to continue this type of work I traveled to Vietnam where I lived for a few months teaching English at a middle school. I would teach 4 to 6 classes a day with lesson plans I would develop based on their nationally mandated curriculum. Once COVID-19 first appeared and Vietnam began closing schools I also worked with some volunteers to coordinate English club meetings in remote villages in order to strengthen their skills.
