About Cassandra

Hi! I have about 5 years of experience working in childcare, beginning with babysitting where I discovered my natural ability to connect with kids, to most recently being a summer camp counselor! I am very passionate about growing a relationship with the children and supporting their growth as well. I believe in fostering a safe, stimulating environment that encourages exploration, imagination, and also learning. I prioritize open and honest communication with parents, ensuring they feel as involved and informed as possible. Whether through verbal updates at pickup, regular text messages, or phone calls, I adapt to their preferred communication method. My approach to home rules is firm, yet understanding and I am able to not only work with the parent's rules, but also adapt to the children based on their behavior. Whether it's playing board games, sports outside, or even video games, I always find joy in connecting with the children, ensuring a positive time!
