I am patient, tolerant, but also believe that children do need a strong figure in their lives to discipline them when necessary. Typically removal of privileges, or time outs work well. I am able to relate to children well and can easily get down on their level and work things out with a minimum amount of problems. I've been taking care of children since I was 11, beginning with my younger siblings. Throughout middle and high school, I had a steady weekend job as a sitter for two children ages 6 months and 2 years. Cassandra cared for both of my daughters exclusively from birth until they were 4 and 3 years old respectively. I continue to reach out to her to babysit on an as-needed basis. Cassandra provided excellent, reliable and safe infant care, and I wouldn't trust my babies with anyone else. She understands childhood development and has an acute sense of each individual child's personality and needs. She is a keen observer, and a gentle guide for teaching and modeling good behavior for young children as well. I appreciated not only her ability to care for my girls, but also that it was clear that she genuinely cared about them. I highly recommend Cassandra as a nanny and caregiver.
