About Catherine

Hi there! I'm Cate, a grad student at Lehigh University. I graduated summa cum laude from Michigan State University, where I earned my BA in Psychology with a double minor in Youth & Society and Educational Studies. In August 2023, I made the move to Bethlehem, PA, to pursue an education specialist degree in school psychology. Currently, I'm a Behavior Health Technician at Lehigh University, where I work with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder develop life skills and independence. I've also worked as a daycare teacher and as a restorative justice facilitator at an elementary school. In these roles, I've learned to manage large groups of children and support their social-emotional growth. I have extensive experience caring for children of various age groups, including babies, toddlers, young children, and early teenagers. I am adept at managing multiple children simultaneously.
