I'd describe my personality as kind, compassionate, caring I like caring for seniors because they are a vulnerable group that deserves better care. Care for them is often overlooked and I would like to help make a difference in their lives and help ease the burden of their caregivers. I'm looking for a job that has some flexibility and is looking for someone to help take care of their elder family member. I started caring for seniors when my Dad became sick. Moved onto nursing school as a second career where I have completed my first year and have worked in a clinical setting for a year and taken care of elderly sick patients. In my spare time, I like to be with my family, and dogs. I like to read, travel and talk to people. One thing you should know about me is I love to help. My skills include therapeutic communication even when the person may not understand. Full attention to the senior. Open communication with family to understand what the person needs.
