About Catherine

Hello! My name is Katie, and I am a registered school occupational therapist. I have been an OT for 3 years and have experience working with 3-21-year-olds. I have a niece and a nephew (2 and 4 years old) that I frequently babysit. I love to be silly and get creative to engage with the kids I work with. I am also very organized, dependable, and tidy. I am able to create time for play and set limits to allow myself time to clean up. My work has given me the skills to validate kids' emotions/feelings, provide choices as much as possible when appropriate, and redirect as needed. I prioritize fostering positive relationships with kids while ensuring safety and meeting parent expectations. I have open availability as I get the summers off working in the schools.
