About Catherine

I'm an art teacher and artist with seven years of teaching experience including gifted and talented and special education. I received my BFA in sculpture from Purchase College in 2017, and my MA in art education from The City College of New York in 2023. I've taught a range of courses from concrete pouring and soldering circuits to video editing and puppetry. I specialize in teaching ceramics, drawing (figure & still life), printmaking, and plaster casting. Together your children would have exciting and educational-filled days, which would look like going to a local museum, farm, or beach to collect shells. Perhaps, setting up a blanket in the yard for art lessons. I'm also a swimmer! I swam competitively for 18 years and taught all ages different swimming skills, from floating to completing pools lengths of butterfly.
