About Celestine

I have been working with children from a very young age, but my career blossomed in college when I became a summer assistant in a public school program. While there I helped to teach a variety of subjects to students in grades K-5th. Once the school year came around, I became an after school tutor where I primarily helped 5th graders with math and reading. However, I also taught a variety of enrichment classes not only to 5th grade students but also K-4th. While working in the public school district, I worked with a variety of children with autism, ADD, ADHD, and a various other learning needs. I learned how to adapt my material and teaching techniques to the particular needs of the student. Currently I am employed with a home school enrichment program where I teach a variety of subjects including 1st grade math and reading, 3rd grade history, 5th grade life sciences, middle school writing, and 9th grade writing.
