About Chanavie

I love working with kids and absolutely adore the joy that children bring to my day! I'm an extremely patient, caring, and highly organized individual. I am a former elementary school teacher with six years of experience in grades 3rd-5th. I taught ELA, Science, and Social Studies as well as SEL every Wednesday morning where students were able to explore topics about self-awareness and social relationships with myself and their peers. I have provided childcare starting at ages 2-5 since I was in high school until I left for college totaling about four years of experience. I have a love of learning that I enjoy sharing with children including but not limited to, random facts about the world and people around them that keeps their curiosity alive. I am looking for an after-school tutoring position in reading, math, and/or science 2-3x a week or a part-time childcare position at about 20 hours per week.
