About Charlie

I work part-time in a highly regarded preschool where I care for children from infancy through elementary age. I love it because we use the latest research in child development to create the curriculum. And that research drives how we work with, care for and teach children. In my off time, I like working as an occasional babysitter for different families who need me. I went to school for design and I never met an art project or craft project I didn't love. Legos anyone? My son, who has learning differences, gave me insight into how children's brains work. That experience has been incredibly helpful when caring for other children. Because what works for him seems to work for all kids. A gentle touch, extra patience and being tuned into a child's needs. Needs sometimes spoken and sometimes unspoken. I have references, been fingerprinted, background checked and am CPR certified. Experience with kids with mild Autism, ADHD and dylsexia
