About Charlotte

I have 15+ years of professional and private music experience, both as a student, teacher, and professional musician. I have multi-instrument experience, including violin, viola, cello, and piano, as well as experience in sight-reading, solo performance, and theory. I'd describe my personality as punctual, motivated, and confident. I like teaching music because music itself is another way for both children and adults to express themselves, and helps to build connection. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work privately with students who are engaged and motivated to learn their chosen instrument. I started teaching music while I was in college, and have continued on and off since. In my spare time, I like to play my instruments, read, and spend time with family. My skills include responsible goal setting, creating individual plans of motivation, and working with the student to build a healthy relationship with music.
