About Chelsea

Hi! I am a physical therapist, and just moved to the island a couple months ago. I'm not currently working as a therapist yet, but want to pick up some hours each week. I love being with elderly patients and spending time with them. Hearing all their stories about their many years of life and their unique experiences is great. I have not worked as a caregiver before in the past, but I have experience with patients with traumatic brain brain injuries, dementia, spinal cord injuries, and amputations, so I have had practice with transfers, and hygiene for someone who cannot take care of it there themself. I also helped with my grandma many times during her last few years, as her dementia worsened and as she became less and less able to perform activities of daily living, bathing, grooming, feeding, and hygiene herself.
