Hey there! I've been a PCT/CNA for about 7 years now. I originally got into nursing back in 2012 when my father was in hospice. After he passed, having help from others was a rarity. I eventually had babies of my own and I distinctly remember the nurses that held my hand during delivery. They were such a blessing. I couldn't remember the last time I had felt that safe or comforted. I knew then that I wanted to be that compassion for others & provide that sense of safety/love while they're losing their independence. I specialize in geriatrics, but I've been worked everywhere. I started on the cardiac unit, then med-surg, PACU, oncology, surgical PCU, ER & travel nursing for 2 years when the pandemic began, which was mostly ICU. I work nights at Cleveland clinic now & just looking for extra work as I finish nursing school. I'd be happy to meet you & your loved ones! :)
