(COVID vaccinated) I was an STNA for 10 yrs, straight out of high school. I eventually removed myself from the field due to the lack of care I saw with the residents. Through the passing years I found myself taking care of my mother-in-law who passed. I then took, care of my own mother. I know what it's like to want your parent at home. I am able to pass meds with my Cert1. I know exactly how hard it can become when taking care of a member of the family. It can be very hard on you if you don't have that extra support. There is nothing wrong with saying you need help. I know what a comfort it is to have your family member at home. I currently work with MRDD clients on midnight. And I love my job. It ranges from clients with mental illness, autism, cancer, or clients that need very little assistance or are disabled. I am certified in CPR and first aid. Feel free to contact me.
