I have a BA in Early Childhood Education. The past 10 years I have been a nanny for the same family. In that span of time I have taken care of 4 children starting from the age of 2months old up to the age of 9yrs. I have experience in taking care of a T1 diabetic child for over 6 years. I gave manual injections of insulin to regulate sugar. Regularly monitored levels through Dexcom and finger sticks. I also changed the Dexcom weekly or as needed for the child. I provide children with at home activities to help the learn and grow through crafts, painting, work books, reading, cooking and educational apps. Through Covid when the children stayed home I continued education with them so they would not fall behind on the level of knowledge they should be at for their age/grade. I brought children to different entertainment facilities, such as Bounce, Flip and Fly, parks etc.. I cook balanced meals and also do light house work. Hope to be a great fit for your family.
