About Cheryl

I grew up in La Canada and graduated from USC. I raised my three children there as well who went on to graduate from universities. I served on many school committees as well as serving as secretary and president of the elementary school site council. I served in the elementary, junior and high school church ministries. I passed the CBEST and earned 12 units in early childhood development and worked in a La Canada preschool for several years prior to the pandemic. I cared for my mother with dementia and husband who passed from cancer. I also served on the board of a private school in La Canada for children with learning disabilities. My family has rescued many dogs, having six at one time. I love children and animals and helping the less fortunate.
