Hi! My name is Christina! A little about me: I currently live in Orlando and work for an Ed tech company in a senior role. However I was a teacher in Florida for 5 years. I have an active teaching certificate and have a Master's in Elementary Education. I've taught second grade, third grade, and fourth grade. I've also tutored children ages 4-13. I specialize in literacy and supporting students in learning to read and write. I have extensive experience with working with students in elementary math. I approach tutoring with a curious outlook, first identifying what might be causing the difficulty and then creating a plan and solution to support. I work closely with your child's teacher (with your approval) to ensure success. I no longer teach, but education is my passion. I love supporting children and families in being successful in and out of the classroom.

Christina joined our family to care for our first son when he was 11 months. She babysat him a 2x a week for 1.5 years, while I went through a second pregnancy and newborn phase with baby number 2. Being a teacher, she is very comfortable being with children, and knows how to teach through play. She learned with us and adjusted to our son's developing needs from baby to toddler. He even said his first word with her! Christina is wonderful and we loved her being a part of our son's life!
