About Christopher

Hi there, my name is Chris and I am a certified Special Education teacher in CT. Although I am quite young, rest assured that I come equipped with the most recent research-based methods to get your child where they need to be socially, emotionally, and academically. I am holistic in my approach to education. Relationship building comes before all else in the classroom, especially for those who have historically been unsuccessful in other environments. I have four years of dedicated 1:1 tutoring with high school and college age students, most of whom have had learning differences. I have successfully tutored in areas including (but not limited to) K-12 humanities, and K-8 STEM. I have taught full, data-driven units on academic writing, creative writing, history poly sci, science and math.
